Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Queen Alexandra Charity. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) to achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting Students: Provide individualized support to students with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their academic and personal goals.
- Assisting Teachers: Work closely with teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans, ensuring that students receive the support they need to succeed.
- Creating a Positive Learning Environment: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social and emotional well-being, and encouraging students to take ownership of their learning.
- Communication and Collaboration: Develop strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to support student success.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and research in SEN support, to ensure that you are equipped to provide the highest level of support to our students.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in education, special education, or a related field.
- Experience: Experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a school or educational setting.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to providing high-quality support to students.
