Fixed-Term Contract - Months
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Band Nurse Associate to join our Peterborough Adult Locality duty team on a month fixed-term contract.
As a key member of our team, you will work alongside a Band duty lead to provide high-quality nursing advice, support, and care to patients experiencing a crisis. You will be responsible for administering depot injections, planning and delivering care to patients on the care coordination waiting list, and working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team.
The role requires flexibility to work from base and travel within the Peterborough community at short notice.
Main Duties of the Job
The post holder will provide evidence-based nursing advice, support, and care to service users with mental and physical health needs and their carers within a multidisciplinary setting.
They will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in line with NMC standards and local, national policies and legislation.
The post holder will ensure effective communication pathways exist and act within their sphere of responsibility. They will work as part of the duty team to manage unplanned work and support staff dealing with service users in crisis.
