Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate the ward activity programme, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Develop and deliver group and individual sessions to support recovery and promote well-being.
  • Establish a supportive and respectful relationship with service users, helping them to identify and achieve their recovery goals.
  • Model personal responsibility, self-awareness, and self-belief to inspire and instil confidence in service users.
  • Teach coping, self-help, and self-management techniques to support service users in managing their mental health.
Requirements
  • Good level of secondary education to GCSE level.
  • Understanding of Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) or whole life plan.
  • Experience of being in a supportive and enabling role, with experience of working in a team or group environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to relate to a wide range of people, with a professional appearance and behaviour.
