Job Title: Air Condition Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Air Condition Engineer to join our team at City Facilities Management Holdings Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple site locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Complete the PPM schedule within agreed timescales and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.
  2. Service Call Requests: Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and assess the requirements of the job, carrying out repairs as necessary.
  3. Maintenance and Repair Work: Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.
  4. Spares Ordering: Order spares according to laid-down procedures.
  5. Non-Repairable Faults: Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.
  6. Compliance Documentation: Ensure that compliance documentation is always completed and up to date.
  7. Surveys and Reports: Carry out surveys and complete reports as required by City management.
  8. Minor Alterations and Installations: Carry out minor alterations and installations within the individual's technical competence in accordance with current specifications.
  9. Training and Development: Attend training courses as necessary to ensure personal job skills keep pace with technical developments.
Requirements:
  • Commercial Gas, Fgas Qualification: Must hold a valid Commercial Gas, Fgas qualification.
  • Education: Educated to GCSE / Standard Grade level as a minimum.
  • Quality of Repairs and Maintenance: Must be able to demonstrate a high standard of quality in repairs and maintenance.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communicator with both written and verbal skills.
  • Speed and Efficiency: Able to work efficiently on your own or as part of a team.
  • Response to Service Call Requests: Must be able to respond to service call requests within agreed response times.
  • Maintenance of Health and Safety Policy: Must be able to maintain the Health and Safety policy.
