Air Conditioning Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Air Condition Engineer to join our team at City Facilities Management Holdings Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across several site locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Complete the PPM schedule within agreed timescales and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.
- Service Call Requests: Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and assess the requirements of the job, carrying out repairs as necessary.
- Maintenance and Repair Work: Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.
- Spares Ordering: Order spares according to laid-down procedures.
- Non-Repairable Faults: Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.
- Compliance Documentation: Ensure that compliance documentation is always completed and up to date.
- Surveys and Reports: Carry out surveys and complete reports as required by City management.
- Minor Alterations and Installations: Carry out minor alterations and installations within the individual's technical competence in accordance with current specifications.
- Training and Development: Attend training courses as necessary to ensure personal job skills keep pace with technical developments.
- Commercial Gas, Fgas Qualification: Must hold a valid Commercial Gas, Fgas qualification.
- Education: Educated to GCSE / Standard Grade level as a minimum.
- Quality of Repairs and Maintenance: Must be able to work efficiently on your own or as part of a team and maintain high standards of quality in repairs and maintenance.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communicator with both written and verbal skills.
- Speed and Efficiency: Must be able to work at a speed and efficiency that meets the needs of the business.
- Response to Service Call Requests: Must respond to service call requests within agreed response times.
- Achievement of PPM Schedule: Must achieve the PPM schedule within agreed timescales.
- Maintenance of Health and Safety Policy: Must maintain the Health and Safety policy and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
