Band 4 Clinical Services Administrator Lead

This is a responsible role that requires supervising a Clinical Service Administrator, previous supervisory experience is desirable. The post holder will have supervisory responsibility for the other administrators within the team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and time management skills, with a flexible and adaptable approach to conflicting demands and deadlines.

This role involves day-to-day line management and support to medical staff, including supervision sessions, appraisals, problem solving and workload management.

  1. Daily key performance monitoring
  2. Processing admissions and discharges
  3. Co-ordination of leave requests
  4. Diary/calendar management
  5. Arranging and attending meetings
  6. Note taking, typing and collating letters
  7. Liaising with GP surgeries and external agencies

We are looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated person who can work under pressure using their initiative, professional attitude and administrative skills to support the ongoing development and smooth running of the service.
