Job Title: Clinical Services Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Services Coordinator to join our team at the Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the clinical team, handling a wide range of tasks including routine and non-routine administrative procedures.

As a Clinical Services Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for the team and handle duty calls. You will require excellent communication and IT skills coupled with exemplary telephone manner.

The role is varied and requires the successful candidate to be able to adapt to constant changes in workload. If you have a degree of resilience and can work well under pressure, we would like to hear from you.

About the Role:

  • Liaise with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal to the organisation and external.
  • Answering the main phones for the ward and dealing with enquiries.
  • Taking accurate messages and passing them on in a timely manner.
  • Uploading and recording information on RiO (Patient Electronic file).
  • Health roster for clinical staff.
  • Typing clinical letters and posting them, ensuring a copy is upload to RiO.
  • Taking minutes of various meetings.
  • Inputting information on to Health Roster.

What We're Looking For:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Business & Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient IT Skills (Including Word, Excel and MS Office packages).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of routine and non-routine administrative procedures acquired through qualification or experience.
  • Experience of working as part of a team.
  • Demonstrates clear understanding of the principles of confidentiality.
