About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join our team at Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a vital role in supporting our service areas in delivering the Trust's objectives and People Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders to provide senior HR expertise on a range of HR issues, including employee relations, recruitment and retention, attendance, change management, workforce planning, talent management, and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Provide leadership for your HR sub-team, focusing on empowerment and engagement, and have previous line management experience.
  • Contribute to the workforce strategy for the Planned Care Division, ensuring its compatibility with Trust-wide workforce plans.
  • Establish immediate credibility at all levels and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as creativity in approaching HR solutions.

Requirements

  • Substantial HR expertise at a senior level within a large, complex organisation in a highly unionised environment.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, reviewing and adapting to new working practices that support flexible working and create a positive work-life balance.
  • Experience of inclusive employment policies, flexible working, staff engagement forums, Trust facilities, and services.
