Site Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site plant, equipment, operations, and personnel, ensuring smooth and productive operations.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and resource for long-term and short-term site objectives, ensuring effective execution of quarry and waste management plans.
- Deliver safe and controlled plan delivery according to agreed/legislated plan and methodology, within agreed timescales.
- Manage plant defect reporting, minimizing plant downtime, and ensure all reporting deadlines are met.
- Oversee site administration, including weekly costing information, purchase order submission, payroll, productivity reporting, and compliance checklists.
- Ensure complete site compliance with PPE requirements, maintain site housekeeping standards, and infrastructure.
- Responsible for site safety and security, ensuring all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality processes are carried out.
- Experience of working with regulatory permits, health & safety guidelines, and site operating plans.
- Experience in landfill, quarrying, and/or civil engineering.
- Leads by example, presenting a positive and professional image, including punctuality, and reliability.
- Self-motivated, takes personal responsibility for making things happen, and welcomes feedback and is eager to learn/develop own skills, knowledge, and behavior.
- A competitive salary between £40,000 - £50,000.
