Learning Support Assistant

Step Teachers is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide valuable support to students with SEN, helping them achieve academic success and personal growth. You will work closely with class teachers and external professionals to develop tailored support plans, ensuring each student receives the necessary assistance.

Job Description:
We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits, including weekly pay, high street discounts, and exclusive gym membership. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide learning support to students with SEN, helping them overcome challenges and achieve academic success.
• Assist class teachers in developing and implementing lesson plans tailored to student needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to implement tailored support plans for students with SEN.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour, contributing to comprehensive assessments and reports.

Requirements:
• Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or similar role is preferred but not essential.
• A genuine passion for working with children and young people, with a patient and empathetic approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
• Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to thrive in different educational settings.
