About the Opportunity

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and manage a team of managerial and senior residential social work staff, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation in residential care. You will work closely with the Head of Service to drive continuous improvements in performance and care quality, ensuring our services meet the highest standards.

  • Leading and managing a team of managerial and senior residential social work staff to deliver high-quality services.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to enhance performance and care quality, aligning with the home's Statement of Purpose and Children's Homes Regulations.
  • Providing guidance and support to Team Managers, ensuring seamless service delivery and continuity.
  • Representing the service at external events and contributing to internal working groups, panels, or projects as required.
  • Ensuring responsible financial management, including sound business planning and effective financial oversight.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. A Level 5 qualification in Children's Residential Management and a minimum of four years' post-qualification experience leading and managing dedicated teams are essential requirements.
