We are seeking an experienced and qualified Family and Systemic Psychotherapist to join our CAMHS team at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. The successful candidate will work primarily at The Beacon Inpatient Unit and provide support to the CAMHS Crisis Team when needed.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth, highly specialized psychological and systemic assessments of children and families, involving face-to-face contact.
- Implement a range of systemic interventions for individuals and their families.
- Develop and deliver highly developed therapeutic interventions, participate in, and sustain them.
- Deliver an agreed package of care to young people and families.
- Provide highly specialized one-to-one clinical consultations to other clinical staff, contributing to formulation, diagnosis, and intervention plans.
- Contribute to CPD provision and support the learning of multi-disciplinary staff at all levels of expertise.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, child protection case conferences, and reviews.
- Undertake risk assessment and risk management for individual young people and provide advice on systemic aspects of risk assessment and risk management.
- Exercise autonomous professional responsibility for the assessment and treatment of young people and their families.
