Critical Care Nurse

The HART program at Interior Health is a pioneering initiative that provides mobile critical care services to patients in rural areas. The program's mission is to deliver high-quality care to patients who require advanced life support. The team consists of a Critical Care RN and a Registered Respiratory Therapist, supported by Basic Life Support paramedics and an on-call transport physician. The HART team collaborates with rural clinicians to stabilize patients and transport them to higher levels of care when necessary.
When not on transport, HART RNs provide support to patient care at their base hospital. This is a Casual Opportunity, which means hours are not guaranteed and may vary. Casual employees are eligible to apply for internal postings, including permanent and temporary positions. Many opportunities with Interior Health begin with casual employment and lead to regular employment.
Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights, rotating from 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 hours.
