Paediatric Medicine Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Paediatric Medicine Specialist to join our team at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our paediatric respiratory team, you will contribute to the management of acute admissions for general paediatrics and respiratory medicine.

With a strong focus on patient care and safety, you will work collaboratively with specialist nurses, physiotherapists, pharmacists, and dietitians to provide high-quality, responsive, and coordinated services to children and young people in Hull and the surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will have experience in assessing and examining children and young people in the context of general paediatrics and respiratory medicine, as well as management of high dependency care areas and PICU/HDU experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to general paediatric outpatient clinics and inpatient ward follow-up
  • Undertake Consultant of the Week and on-call duties
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team clinics for cystic fibrosis, trachea-oesophageal fistula, and other respiratory conditions
