Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Lead to join our team at Searchability NS&D. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our critical national infrastructure software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and advance our software products to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
  • Provide technical training and guidance to our internal teams to ensure they have the necessary skills to support our software development efforts.
  • Collaborate with our customers to understand their technical requirements and provide technical consultancy to ensure our software meets their needs.
  • Port our software products to new hardware platforms as required to ensure our software remains relevant and effective.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in software development, including languages such as C++, Python, and JavaScript.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, including Red Hat, Centos, and Rocky.
  • Experience with socket programming, network protocols, and web-based technologies such as React and Django.
  • Proficiency in SQL databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with testing and diagnostics using tools such as Robot Framework, Jenkins, or Gitlab.
