About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our client's team in developing a secure and scalable data platform capable of processing large volumes of data and to develop digital applications handling thousands of users.

About the Company:

Our client is a well-established product and software business with a clear product market fit and a growing customer base. They are heavily B2B, with products used by customers allowing them to undertake tasks ranging from fleet management, to data reporting and staff training – these products exist across desktop and native mobile.

About the Team:

You will be reporting into the Head of Software Development, and collaborating closely with their product team. On the Engineering team, you will work alongside Cloud Engineers, backend and front-end developers to develop an event driven Azure hosted data platform with the backend written in C# and Python.

About the Job:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for advancing the development of their data platform, enhancing the ingestion process and expanding C# based APIs. You will also be working with C# and Python, react or JavaScript, ORM Tools (SQL Alchemy, Django or EF Core), Unit testing (xUnit, pytest, React Testing Library or Jest), and Experience within DevOps environments and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a secure and scalable data platform capable of processing large volumes of data
  • Develop digital applications handling thousands of users
  • Advance the development of the data platform, enhancing the ingestion process and expanding C# based APIs
