We are seeking an experienced Residential Childcare Worker to join our team as a Team Leader, supporting the Home Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the home and promoting the well-being and positive outcomes for every young person in our care.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for assisting the Home Manager in implementing policies and procedures, maintaining records, and fostering the growth and development of junior staff. Your expertise and passion for residential childcare will enable us to deliver high-quality care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Home Manager in maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
  • Implement policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Foster the growth and development of junior staff.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in residential childcare.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce or equivalent.

Working Arrangements:

The role involves working on a 1 in 2 off rolling shift pattern, with hours spanning 8am to 11pm. The salary for this position ranges from £13 to £14.50 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include sleep-in rates of £60 per night and overtime payments at £1 extra.
