Senior Payroll Officer (Maternity Cover)


We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Payroll Officer to join our finance team at NPTC Group of Colleges in Wales.



About the Role

This is a full-time, fixed-term position until 17 November 2025, working 37 hours per week including evening work and occasional early mornings and weekends.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll processes for employees across the organization
  • Process salaries, national insurance contributions, and other benefits
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee data
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Proven experience in payroll administration
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A good understanding of employment law and regulations


Benefits

NPTC Group of Colleges offers a competitive salary of approximately £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our pension scheme provides excellent benefits, with over £20 contributed by the College for every £100 earned.
