Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our IT infrastructure team as the Head of IT Infrastructure. This is a critical role that requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of our IT infrastructure, including networks, telecommunications, and server infrastructure.
- Develop and implement IT policies and architectural standards to ensure the selection, deployment, and lifecycle management of appropriate services for JD Group.
- Lead and manage the IT Network and Telecommunications and IT Systems teams to maximize productivity, ensure the skills pool is current and relevant to the requirements of the organisation, enhance job satisfaction, promote career development, and implement effective succession planning.
- Experience delivering business-critical IT infrastructure, including design, administration, implementation, and management experience.
- Experience in large, cross-functional teams influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders effectively across the organisation.
- Formal training and/or current certifications in ITIL or ITSM.
- Relevant experience hosting client-facing SaaS applications in both on-premises datacentre environments and public cloud.
- Experience designing and implementing secure application hosting & Enterprise solutions that are compliant with data security standards.
- Advanced knowledge of IT Infrastructure technology standards, guidelines, and tools.
