Senior CAS Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior CAS Designer to join our Design department in Woking. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and visually stunning products that showcase the brand's unique identity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Class A surfaces for aero mule and first CAD models to 'concept' tolerances with curves-on-surface.
  • Collaborate with the Design Team to create SR3 surfaces for Design Director approval to 'pre-production' tolerances.
  • Coordinate with other Surfacing Zone Owners to compile complete Persistent Digital Model.
  • Ensure final surface approval from Designer for maintaining SR3 design intent.
  • Prepare renderings, technical drawings & CAD models of design proposals in support of the Design Release Process.
  • Generate data models suitable for milling/RPT applications (e.g. closed volume STL files).
Requirements
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent design/engineering related discipline.
  • 2D presentation/Animation ability in addition to Class A surfacing expertise.
  • Relevant Automotive Design experience of 5+ years.
