About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team, focusing on nuclear and energy projects. With experience in mechanical systems and a strong background in design and analysis, you will play a key role in delivering complex energy solutions.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to capture requirements, set up projects, and deliver right-first-time solutions for the most challenging problems in the energy industry.

Key responsibilities include working within small to medium-sized teams, driving innovative thinking, and working in a collaborative and supportive office site environment. You will bring a level of commercial awareness to working within teams to effectively deliver tasks for multiple workstreams and to deliver to time, quality, and cost.

Essential Criteria
  • Degree qualified mechanical engineer (or other relevant qualification).
  • Experience in carrying out mechanical engineering substantiation for new designs or existing plant.
  • Experience in writing accurate, detailed, and concise technical reports (e.g., design substantiations, basis of analysis, safety case references).
  • Experience in delivery accountability for mechanical engineering solutions.
  • Comfortable with engaging with existing and prospective clients, working at their sites, and investing time in understanding their issues, goals, and processes.
