Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Children's Nurse to join our team at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide nursing assessments, interventions, and care to children and young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to children and young people with complex conditions, including those with disabilities and life-limiting illnesses.
  • Work collaboratively with families, carers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to children's nursing.
  • Participate in on-call rotas and provide emergency nursing care as required.
Requirements
  • Registered Children's Nurse (RSCN/RCN) with significant post-registration experience.
  • Teaching qualification or equivalent.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
