**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced academic instructor to join our team at West Herts College. As a lecturer in health and social care, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to our students.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Plan, deliver, and assess courses at levels 1, 2, and 3, including the T Level in Supporting Healthcare (Adult Nursing)
  • Develop and prepare resources, deliver lessons, and mark student work to high standards
  • Support students with their whole program of study, including work experience placements
  • Embed essential skills and knowledge in adult nursing, social care, and psychology

**Requirements:**

  • Master's degree or equivalent qualification in nursing and relevant vocational experience
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to undertake full teacher training
  • Industry specialist with experience working with young people or apprentices
