Conveyancing Professional Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled licensed conveyancer or solicitor to join our thriving Lender Finance Team at Lightfoots LLP Solicitors, a 175-year-old firm that continues to grow.
This is an excellent opportunity for a conveyancing professional with experience in residential conveyancing, commercial property transactions, and bridging loans to take on new challenges and expand their skillset.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organisational skills, be proactive, and possess commercial and financial awareness. Experience with buy-to-let, leasehold properties, and residential conveyancing transactions is essential.
The successful applicant will work closely with lenders, clients, and internal departments to ensure seamless transaction processes and provide expert advice on all aspects of the buying and selling process.
Key Responsibilities:- Handle files from initial instruction to completion, ensuring all enquiries are dealt with, title issues resolved, searches carried out, and mortgage conditions satisfied.
- Title checking and preparation of contracts and supporting documents.
- Act as a sounding board for junior solicitors and conveyancing assistants and handle more complex transactions.
- Liaise with clients, clients' agents, borrowers, asset managers, buyers' solicitors, and other relevant parties.
- A minimum of 2 years' PQE and experience in residential conveyancing or commercial conveyancing is necessary.
- Experience with case management systems and ability to work under pressure maintaining attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills at all levels and a true team ethos.

We operate an optional hybrid working model of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. We offer a competitive salary of approximately £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
