We are currently seeking a System Engineering Lead to join our team in Luton or Edinburgh. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality system engineering services to our clients.

Job Description

The System Engineering Lead will be responsible for providing system engineering support to Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) across all lifecycle phases of a programme. This includes:

  1. Driving a proactive approach to system engineering into IPTs
  2. Supporting the Head of Configuration and Data Management in encouraging new ideas and innovative solutions into IPTs and the Line of Business (LoB)
  3. Resolving system engineering issues within IPTs by making proposals and driving through solutions
  4. Providing system engineering basis of estimate (BoE) into work packages
  5. Building and managing customer and supplier relationships
  6. Demonstrating self-management and supporting the development of other team members when required
  7. Developing and promoting knowledge and use of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and associated engineering tools
  8. Working hand-in-hand with engineering delivery teams to ensure the project dataset is maintained and configuration controlled

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of system engineering principles, excellent practical knowledge of system design and development, experience with software development, and a broad understanding of system integration.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the success of our clients. We offer a competitive salary package including £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
