We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. Veterinary Role Summary:
This role involves performing routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals. You will conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries. Collaboration with veterinary nurses and support staff is essential for ensuring comprehensive care for patients. Providing guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness is also a key responsibility. Maintaining accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress is crucial for effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine medical checks and diagnostic tests on animals.
- Conduct surgical operations such as spaying, neutering, and other minor procedures.
- Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to deliver high-quality animal care.
- Offer expert advice to pet owners on animal welfare, nutrition, and health.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress updates.
Veterinary Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must possess a veterinary degree from a recognized institution and a valid veterinary license to practice in the UK. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building relationships with clients and colleagues. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently is also vital for success in this position. A compassionate and caring approach to animals is critical for delivering high-quality patient care.
