Job Specification:
We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to enhance our veterinary team at GLG Vets in Lancashire. This role offers a dynamic environment where you will provide top-notch care to animals while collaborating with a dedicated team.

About the Role:
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals. You will also conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive care to animals, including routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments.
  • Conduct surgical procedures, such as spaying, neutering, and minor surgeries, as needed.
  • Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure seamless care for patients.
  • Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
