Electrical Project Manager Job Description

Vannin Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Project Manager to join our expanding rail team in Warwickshire.

We are a well-established company specialising in mechanical and electrical (M&E) works, civil engineering (Civils), and signalling and telecommunications (S&T) within the rail sector.

This is a long-term contract or permanent opportunity working on a long-term project, ideal for professionals seeking stability and growth in their careers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Plan, execute, and finalise rail projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
  • Low Voltage Systems: Demonstrate a thorough understanding and practical experience with low voltage (LV) systems in the rail environment.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all projects comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met.
  • Resource Allocation: Identify and allocate resources effectively to achieve project goals.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure all work meets specified standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of project management experience in the rail industry, with a focus on electrical systems.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership and team management abilities.
  • Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
