Job Overview:

NHS's Specialist Weight Management Service is looking for a highly skilled Holistic Health Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with patients to address their unique health challenges related to obesity. Your exceptional knowledge of weight management principles and practices will enable you to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Furthermore, your ability to train healthcare professionals and educate patients will be essential in promoting healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention.

The successful candidate will possess a strong educational foundation in weight management, ideally with a postgraduate degree. At least 3 years of experience as a General Practitioner, along with a demonstrated history of successfully managing weight-related health issues, is necessary for this position. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital for collaborating with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals. Experience with clinical systems such as SystmOne, Emis, and Lorenzo is advantageous. As a Holistic Health Practitioner, you will be responsible for supervising clinical staff, conducting clinical audits, and analyzing data to inform decision-making. We prioritize maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in clinical practice. A DBS check is required for this position. The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately £70,000 - £90,000.
