Operations Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Finance Manager to provide financial expertise and support to our Distribution Business Unit in Wellingborough, United Kingdom.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure Financial Accuracy: Apply consistent accounting practices and manage financial reporting processes to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
- Drive Business Strategy: Contribute financial insights to shape business strategies and drive key business metrics.
- Enhance Operational Efficiency: Partner with business leaders to create operational efficiencies and drive continuous improvements and growth initiatives.
- Maintain Compliance: Manage financial support to comply with governmental, regulatory, and local requirements, ensuring the entity meets all necessary standards.
- Support New Business Development: Provide financial analysis and support to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Develop Strong Control Environment: Manage the development of a strong control environment across key business cycles, safeguarding the entity's assets and financial integrity.
- Mentor and Develop Staff: Coach and mentor finance staff to foster a skilled and motivated team, enhancing overall performance and development.
- Strong Financial Analysis Skills: Interpret financial data, analyze trends, variances, and risks to drive business improvements and ensure data integrity.
- Expertise in Financial Planning and Forecasting: Utilize financial forecast data to provide projections, analyze trends, and validate assumptions to align forecasts with organizational goals.
- Knowledge of Financial Regulations: Evaluate and ensure compliance with financial regulations and educate stakeholders on key requirements and implications.
Requirements:
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
