Job Overview:

We are a leading telecommunications provider in New Zealand, offering a range of services to our customers. We are seeking an experienced Software Tester to join our Business Enablement & Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing the testing framework, executing tests across various environments, and documenting detailed steps. Your work will help ensure the smooth operation of software applications, directly supporting the growth and success of our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the testing framework to ensure comprehensive testing of software applications.
  • Execute tests across various environments to identify defects and ensure software quality.
  • Document detailed steps and results of testing activities to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance software quality and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in software testing.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Suite, Postman, and other software testing tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and report them promptly.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments, collaborating with various stakeholders.
  • A passion for technology and continuous development, with a desire to learn and grow in the field.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification is an advantage, but not essential.
  • Experience in the Telco environment is a plus, but not necessary.
