About the Role:

M2R Education is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Community Resilience Education Facilitator to join our team. As a Community Resilience Education Facilitator, you will play a vital role in supporting learners with neurodiverse and inclusion needs, managing a caseload of disengaged learners, and developing Individual Learning Support plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Education team to provide support to learners with neurodiverse and inclusion needs.
  • Manage a caseload of disengaged learners and develop Individual Learning Support plans.
  • Promote an effective and inclusive learning environment, providing support to learners in a classroom or workshop environment and on a one-to-one basis.
  • Develop resources to support prisoners with low-level reading ability.
  • Deliver creative support for emerging readers to enable prisoners to make progress and be inspired to read.
  • Develop reading groups and initiatives, including 'Book of the Month,' in collaboration with libraries to enable prisoners to build on and continue their love of reading.
  • Assist management in promoting a 'reading for pleasure' culture within the education and wider prison community.

Requirements:

  • Minimum level 2 English
  • QTS required
  • Experience working with adult learners and within a secure unit
