Job Title: Children's Workforce Academy Lead

Job Summary:

The Children's Workforce Academy Lead is a pivotal role designed for an enthusiastic and experienced individual who is passionate about developing and enhancing the skills of those working with children. This position involves overseeing the strategic direction and operational effectiveness of the Children's Workforce Academy, ensuring that all programs are aligned with best practices in child development, education, and support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs for the children's workforce.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with best practices.
  • Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of training initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions for educators and social workers.
  • Mentor and support workforce members in their professional development.
  • Maintain and analyze data related to workforce training outcomes.
  • Create and foster partnerships with community organizations to enhance support services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in education, social work, child development, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in training or workforce development.
  • Strong understanding of child development and educational practices.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to assess and analyze training needs and outcomes.
  • Familiarity with creating educational materials and training modules.

Working Hours: 35 hours per week

Working Hours Schedule: 09:00 - 17:00

Pay Rate: £36.78 per hour
