Job Description:

We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist to join our team at Datatech Analytics. As a key member of our data science team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced data analytics, machine learning, and AI solutions to drive innovation in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement advanced data analytics, machine learning, and AI solutions to address complex challenges in healthcare.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, define data science strategies, and drive the development of innovative products and services.
  3. Lead a team of data scientists and mentor junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence in data science practices.

Requirements:

  • In-depth experience coaching and leading junior data scientists within a senior data science role.
  • Demonstrable experience of developing complex AI projects with minimal supervision, working in line with best practices.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical background.
  • Deep knowledge of Python and data science packages such as Scikit-learn, Keras, TensorFlow, and PySpark.
  • Familiar with MLOps industry best practices.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive annual salary of up to £90,000 dependent on experience.
  • Hybrid working - West Kent office base (currently 2 days in office but expected to move to 3).
  • Full UK working rights required.

Salary Range: Up to £90,000 per annum
