About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Hepatitis C Specialist Intervention Worker to join our team at Change Grow Live. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in reducing drug-related harm to individuals and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Regional Hepatitis C Coordinator and Hepatitis C Data Analyst to develop and implement effective strategies to reduce hepatitis C transmission.
  • Provide harm reduction advice and screening to individuals at risk of contracting blood-borne viruses (BBVs).
  • Collaborate with Hepatology nurses to deliver treatment on site and ensure seamless care for our service users.
  • Collect and analyze data related to hepatitis C performance, working closely with the Hepatitis C Data Analyst to inform service development.
  • Lead on BBV work streams and guide frontline workers in the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with multi-agency partners, including mental health services, criminal justice agencies, and community groups, to achieve good outcomes for our service users.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A suitable qualification or life experience in a relevant field.
  • Excellent knowledge of the risks that can lead to increased risk of BBV infection.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to guide frontline workers in the delivery of quality services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to accurately update and maintain records in a timely fashion.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work on your own initiative, prioritizing tasks accordingly.
