Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team in Banbury, Oxfordshire. As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing control systems for electric vehicles and powertrain technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop control system architectures
- Perform safety analysis and embedded control software development
- Develop system models and test rig control and modeling
- Test, calibrate, and validate control systems
Requirements:
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++
- Experience with model development and analysis
- Knowledge of vehicle systems architecture design and CAN/LIN
- Safety analysis skills (FMEA, HazOp, etc.)
Desirable Skills:
- Electronic circuit design
- ISO26262 knowledge
- Understanding of mechanical, thermal, or other associated systems
- Automotive quality knowledge
