About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Lead to join our Crisis Team as a Non Medical Prescriber. This is a unique opportunity to lead and inspire a team of professionals in delivering high-quality care to service users with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire the team to deliver a high-quality and effective Crisis service for service users and carers.
  • Provide clinical leadership to ensure the service works effectively alongside other services to manage risk and prevent hospital admission for service users with complex needs.
  • Undertake and support the specialist ongoing assessment of physiological and/or psychological functioning for service users with complex health and wellbeing needs.
  • Develop, deliver, and review comprehensive and complex treatment programmes using evidence-based practice, including strategies to manage risk for service users with complex needs and carers.
  • Coordinate care for a small number of service users, providing professional advice to individuals on other teams' caseloads.
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate defined advanced specialist therapeutic interventions within your sphere of expertise.
  • Oversee and deliver a range of defined activities/interventions to improve carers' ability to support service users and enable them in their relationship with the service user.
  • Lead, in partnership with the team manager, ensuring the service develops and maintains excellent clinical standards and effective caseload supervision.
  • Oversee and ensure effective risk management plans and strategies for service users and carers, taking account of risks to service users, carers, the organisation, staff, and the public.
