About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Store Director to join our Simply Food store management team in North West London. The successful candidate will receive 12 weeks induction and training in our Brent Cross Academy store before being placed in a base store nearby.

  • The role comes with a competitive salary of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • You will be responsible for driving profitability and sales through the delivery of the Store P&L and Retail Plan across the store.
  • Create the right culture, role modelling new digital ways of working and leadership behaviours.
  • Regularly review individual performance of the leadership team through quality conversations, celebrating success and managing underperformance where required.

This is a challenging but rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to drive change. You will be responsible for ensuring all line management and people activities are delivered in accordance with company process and policy.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Drive profitability and sales through the delivery of the Store P&L and Retail Plan across the store.
  • Create the right culture, role modelling new digital ways of working and leadership behaviours.
  • Regularly review individual performance of the leadership team through quality conversations, celebrating success and managing underperformance where required.
  • Ensuring all line management and people activities are delivered in accordance with company process and policy.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of leading high-performing teams to deliver excellent customer service and KPIs.
  • Substantial understanding and up-to-date knowledge of commercial, visual, operational, and people processes and systems.
  • The ability to successfully embed change for lasting commercial impact and results.
