Pharmacist Support Staff Opportunity

Join us in making a difference to every life at HMP Stocken, a category C men's prison located in Oakham. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be part of a dedicated team providing pharmaceutical services to prisoners.
Salary DetailsThis full-time position offers an annual salary up to £28,690, depending on experience. You will also receive:

Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing general dispensary duties and stock management
- Working as an active member of the Pharmaceutical team to ensure the delivery of pharmaceutical services
- Providing timely and efficient service to prison wings
- Receiving prescriptions and stick returns from wing-based clinical areas
- Collecting orders from suppliers from the Main Gate and arranging collection of return
- Participating in dispensing of prescriptions
- NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills or equivalent
- Medicines handling experience desirable but not essential
- Level 2 English and Maths or equivalent
- A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Good IT skills and IT literacy
- Ability to work within a busy environment
- Ability to work unsupervised while following policy and procedures
