Clinical Specialist/Trainee

As a Clinical Specialist or Clinical Specialist Trainee at Inomed Neurocare, you will be responsible for monitoring the integrity of the patient's nervous system during various procedures, including neuro, spine, orthopaedic, vascular, and other surgeries. You will work closely with the surgeon and theatre team, informing them of any changes to help guide surgical decisions and reduce the risk of neurological injury.
You will be responsible for providing services primarily in and around Sheffield and may be required to travel nationally when necessary. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Performing a range of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring techniques for various surgeries.
- Producing clinical reports.
- Progressing through the training program by completing theoretical exams and practical clinical assessments.
- Creating pre and post-operative reflection documents.
- Daily communication with teammates/seniors.
Requirements for the Role:
- Minimum one year experience in intraoperative neuromonitoring (required for the clinical specialist position). Applicants with less or no experience will be considered for the Clinical Specialist Trainee position.
- A Master's or Doctorate Degree in a neuroscience-related discipline.
- A degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., neurophysiology, neuroscience, or a related field).
- Willingness to travel to various locations across the UK to provide services as needed.
- Fluent in English.

- Proactive individual who works well independently and as part of the team.
- Eagerness to learn and continuously improve their knowledge and skills.
- Interest/passion for neuroscience/neurophysiology.
Desirable:
- Experience in neurophysiology techniques.
- Experience with patient care and managing confidential data.
- Previous employment within a healthcare/theatre environment.
- Full UK Driving license.
