About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Specialist Trainee to join our team at Inomed Neurocare. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional clinical services to enhance patient safety and surgical outcomes in various types of surgeries.

Your primary responsibility will be to monitor the integrity of the patient's nervous system during procedures, including neuro, spine, orthopaedic, vascular, and other surgeries. You will work closely with the surgeon and theatre team, providing real-time monitoring and handling pre- and post-operative duties.

As a trainee, you will receive full practical and theoretical training, supported by mentoring, seminars, and independent study. You will have the opportunity to progress through the training program by completing theoretical exams and practical clinical assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform a range of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring techniques for various surgeries.
  2. Monitor the patient's nervous system during procedures and provide real-time feedback to the surgeon.
  3. Collaborate with the theatre team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  4. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  5. Travel to various locations across the UK to provide services as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A Master's or Doctorate Degree in a neuroscience-related discipline.
  2. A degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., neurophysiology, neuroscience, or a related field).
  3. Experience with patient care and managing confidential data.
  4. A full UK Driving license.
