Governance Support Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Governance Support Officer to join our team at Teaching Vacancies. As a Governance Support Officer, you will play a critical role in providing administrative support to our trust or school committees, ensuring that they have the necessary information and resources to make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to trust or school committees, including preparing meeting materials, taking minutes, and maintaining records.
- Assist in the development and implementation of governance policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with senior leadership team, trustees, and other stakeholders to ensure effective governance and compliance.
- Manage and prioritize competing demands and deadlines, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of tasks.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including schools, governors, and other external partners.
- A Level/NVQ qualification Level 3 (or equivalent).
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be proficient in editing documents, ensuring clear formatting and presentation.
- Ability to manage own workload effectively.
- Awareness and interest in academy/corporate governance and the need to ensure regulatory needs are met.
