Job SummaryWe are seeking a Governance Support Officer to join our team at Star Central. As a key member of our governance team, you will provide administrative support to our trust or school committees, ensuring that they have the information and resources they need to make effective decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to trust or school committees, including preparing meeting papers, taking minutes, and maintaining records.
- Assist with the development and implementation of governance policies and procedures.
- Support the governance team with research, analysis, and reporting.
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including trustees, governors, and senior leaders.
- A Level/NVQ qualification Level 3 (or equivalent).
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage own workload effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Awareness and interest in academy/corporate governance and regulatory requirements.
