Key Responsibilities- Support the Registered Manager in ensuring the effective management of the care home, including the supervision of care staff and the maintenance of high standards of care.
- Assist in the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring that residents receive person-centred care that meets their individual needs.
- Contribute to the recruitment, induction, and training of new staff members, ensuring that they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
- Work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure that the care home is compliant with all relevant legislation and regulations, including the Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.
- Provide leadership and support to care staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Experience of managing teams within health and social care, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, relatives, and staff.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including the CQC standards.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to increase your NVQ level.
