Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical team, you'll play a leading role in championing software excellence and scalability, enabling our scientific platform to make a greater impact at an even faster rate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Collaborate with our cutting-edge scientific team to drive scalability of the platform, ensuring seamless integration of software and scientific capabilities.
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Mentor and guide other members of the tech team to develop their software development skills, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  • Software Development Best Practices: Champion software development best practices, including thorough code review, comprehensive testing strategies, detailed documentation, architectural design, and promoting a culture of engineering excellence.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy, reliability, performance, and security of our software.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement across the tech team, maximizing our impact potential.
  • Industry Trends and Emerging Technologies: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, assessing their potential impacts on our roadmap.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Proven experience in large multi-developer environments, with an extreme eye for detail and passion for building functional, scalable, market-ready products.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent grasp of Python, JavaScript, software engineering principles, Linux environments, and API design.
  • Desirable Skills: Familiarity with high-performance languages, DevOps, containerization technology, and cloud environments.
