Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Data Engineer to join our expanding data team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our AWS platform, as well as implementing data pipelines using Python.

About the Company

Our client is a fast-growing E-commerce telephone company that is looking for a talented Staff Data Engineer to join their team. They have recently invested heavily in growing their Data and Analytics team to provide a great service to their clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementing streaming pipelines using Kafka.
  • Maintaining and building out the AWS platform.
  • Implementing best coding practices using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Building and maintaining Data Pipelines using Python.

Requirements

  • Commercial experience of implementing best coding practices using CI/CD.
  • Strong knowledge of working within AWS.
  • Strong understanding of Real-Time Data Streaming using Kafka.
  • Experience building and maintaining Data Pipelines using Python or Java.
