Business Financial Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Financial Administrator to join our accounts team on a part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to take their career to the next level and grow with a dynamic team.
About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Finance Manager, including bank reconciliations, accounts management, credit control, purchasing, and expense processing. As a key member of our finance team, you will collaborate across departments to ensure the smooth running of the finance team.
We offer a competitive salary of £29,000 per annum, 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and office perks. If you have experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar position and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Administration: Provide administrative support to the Finance Manager, including data entry and record-keeping.
- Accounts Management: Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices.
- Credit Control: Take charge of credit control, working proactively to resolve any payment issues.
- Purchasing: Manage purchasing and ensure accurate invoicing, with approvals from the Finance Manager.
- Liaison: Liaise with subcontractors on an ad-hoc basis to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Expense Processing: Process company expenses and credit cards.
- Experience: Proven experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar position.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential and familiarity with the Xero accounting system is desirable.
- Collaboration: Ability to collaborate across departments, ensuring the smooth running of the finance team.
