Job Title:
Graduate Sales Development Executive

As a Sales Development Executive at Despatch Cloud, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by generating and qualifying leads through outbound activity and converting them into sales opportunities.

Our company, Despatch Cloud, is a fast-growing Software as a Service (SaaS) provider offering a wide range of software solutions from Order and Warehouse Management to Returns, Shipping and Channel integrations with a client base ranging from eCommerce start-ups to large enterprises.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with prospects, understanding their business objectives and challenges to position Despatch Cloud as a trusted partner in their e-commerce journey.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Proactively reaching out to potential customers via telephone to introduce Despatch Cloud's products and services, identify their needs, and qualify them as sales opportunities.
  • Effectively communicating the value proposition of Despatch Cloud's solutions to prospects, highlighting key features and benefits that address their specific pain points and requirements.
  • Utilising persuasive sales techniques to overcome objections, negotiate terms, and close deals that meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all interactions with prospects, updating CRM systems with relevant information, and managing a consistent pipeline of qualified leads.

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a persuasive and confident phone manner.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to handle objections and drive sales conversations to a successful conclusion.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools to manage leads and track sales activities.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday 9-5.
