The successful candidate will be responsible for taking a fresh approach to absence management, bringing innovative ideas to policy, practice and embedding new ways of working.

Key responsibilities include reviewing policies and procedures to align with best practice and organisational values, developing comprehensive training materials and toolkits to empower managers to proactively support sickness absence, and providing proactive managerial support for complex sickness absence cases.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a proven track record in policy development and implementation, and the ability to take a creative approach and develop fresh ideas.
