Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at OVO Energy. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing new commercial relationships in both existing and entirely new markets, identifying new partners, and assisting in designing and defining contractual arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new commercial partnerships and negotiate contracts with external organizations.
  • Represent OVO Energy at industry events and conferences.
  • Work closely with the Commercial Contract Management team to ensure delivery of agreed strategy targets.
  • Keep up to date with industry activity and ensure contracts are amended to meet changing energy efficiency obligation policy, industry fraud and compliance trends.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within the industry for the Energy Company Obligation (ECO), Great British Insulation Scheme or other residential energy efficiency schemes.
  • Expert knowledge of the concepts and principles of supply chain management within an operational business.
  • Strong commercial contract negotiating capability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £42,000 - £55,000 per annum.
  • An on-target bonus of 15%.
